My current show of choice is Hawaii 5-0, followed by Psych (which my husband and I watch together). As I turned on Hawaii 5-0 yesterday, the episode playing dealt with a summer camp, and a murder that someone believed he witnessed three decades prior. The entire episode gave off Jason and Camp Crystal Lake vibes. To summarize: Ultimate Spook Factor was portrayed in this episode. Fast forward 10 hours, when my gorgeous hubby and I are watching Psych, and low and behold, a Halloween episode starts playing! Now, I know that this is just coincidence, but multiple scary episodes playing, randomly, in the same day, seemed to be a sign to me. We can all admit 2020 has not been the most comfortable, we have all had to adapt and step outside our normality bubble that we live in. That being said, I don’t want to ever rush summer away, but the comfortability factor of fall definitely outweighs the need to slow down time. These two episode occurrances got me to thinking how it would be incredible if there were a list of fall, spooky, and Halloween episodes, ranging across multiple platforms, that I could reference when I am desiring the “Spooktober” feeling. Well, quite honestly, why the hell shouldn’t I just compose one myself.
