Travel Bucket List:

I am always writing down places to adventure to and visit, along with the time frame in which I hope to visit them within. I decided my travel itineraries might be super helpful, as travel and stepping outside our comfort zone, is one of our favorite things. And not to toot my own horn, but we have actually gotten extremely good at finding beautiful places to visit, as well as unique areas to go to. (While I love popular locations, such as Chicago and New York City, we prefer to go off the beaten path!)

I will divide this post into the different amounts of years I hope to travel to each location within.

Within the next year:

-Pacific coast of Costa Rica (waterfall tours, hanging bridges in Manual Antonio, cloud forest, TSI, KSTR)

-Camping in the UP

-Galena, IL (perfect for a girl's weekend)

-Bioluminescent kayaking in Cocoa Beach. Notes I took: Best time to go: there is a 13-day window in every month where there is no moon in the sky while we are on the water at night..the window is as follows...: Book 3 days AFTER THE FULL MOON- until 1 DAY AFTER the new moon. This window will save you from the new moon crowds, while still enjoying the absolute darkness of a "New Moon" night!. Peak Season: June – October 31st with sightings as late as January (we will be going the second week of December 2022). Book through here.

Within the next two to three years:

-Breckenridge, CO (fall time to see the aspens and trees!)

-Vail, CO (during the wintertime)

-Glamping with Wander Camp (preferably Yellowstone, but also eventually Zion and Glacier National Park)

-Nayara Gardens/Tented Camp (La Fortuna, CR). Note: we stayed here earlier this year, but would like to stay for at least a week. Going during the off-season: February, as it is roughly half the price per room as other times of the year ;) ).

-Dallas Aquarium (visit their sloth exhibit!). -Maine

-Mexico for my 30th (rent a house with the fam., on the beach)

Within the next five years:

-Germany

-Canada (preferably Quebec and Ontario) -Banff, Canada (Hiking, as well as the dinosaur dig)

-France and Netherlands (multiple days in Amsterdam and Netherlands, one-two days in Paris, the rest traveling the south of France) -Peru (Machu Picchu)

-Hawaii (Maui and Big Island)

-Yosemite and San Francisco

-Turks and Caicos

Within the next ten years:

-Spain and Portugal

-Japan

-Africa (preferably South Africa and a country there, to go on a safari, as well as check out the penguins). Note: I am aware that Africa is a continent, that is why I put I would like to go to a country in South Africa. -Galapagos Islands

Within the next twenty years:

-Antarctica -Alaska cruise
