I am an avid book reader and always have been! I love to get lost in different realities that books provide. Whether that is a romantic comedy, suspense, thriller, or even a fantasy world novel.
I have always loved to own and read physical copies of books. There is something so magical and comforting about the fresh book smell. While I know that renting books from the library is cheaper (and until about a year ago I would 3-4 books every month and read them in my down time), a lot of new books I wanted to read there were waiting periods of weeks. One book I wanted to read was even a 53 week wait! In order to supplement my reading of the books I rented from the library, I came across Book of the Month. This is a subscription service (but you can skip any month you don't want a new book, which I love that option, as sometimes life gets too busy that you don't have time to finish your current book, or there are just simply not any funds to allocate to new books). This book service has a numerous amount of books, from all different genres, and each month you can choose 1 book ($9.99 for your first one, and $14.99 after), as well as up to two additional books ($9.99 each).
I absolutely love this service, and it is beyond convenient (can you say free shipping and personalized book recommendations, based on your preferences?!).

While later on, I will create a book post of my top favorite books, here are the books that I ordered from Book of the Month, over the last year, that I highly recommend. Especially if you are into suspense and thrillers. These top books are the ones I could not put down:
-Recursion- Blake Crouch
-Lock Every Door- Riley Sager
-Final Girls- Riley Sager
-The Last Time I Lied- Riley Sager
-Home Before Dark- Riley Sager (Can you tell that Riley Sager is my top favorite author, besides JK Rowling?)
-The Turn of the Key- Ruth Ware (This book was so intriguing that I even lent it to my mom, and she finished it in 2 days!)
-The Last Flight- Julie Clark (One of the biggest twists of any book I've read!)
-The Shadows- Alex North
